Hi there! My name is Beccy and I’m from Newcastle upon Tyne in the North of England.
At the moment I’m studying media communications and culture at Keele University. Alongside this I have been teaching English as part of my TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) course.
I’m excited to be working as a Camp Guide at English Camp World this summer.
My hobbies include drama, photography and film. I have a great sense of humour and a very positive attitude. I like to make sure all of my students feel comfortable in class and enjoy themselves.
Hi everyone! My name is Ruby, and I’m from Leicester in the Midlands of England.
I’m currently studying modern languages at the University of Edinburgh and have recently completed a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course. Outside of my studies, I work a lot with youth groups, where I have training in mediation and child protection and a lot of experience running fun and educational workshops.
I enjoy working with children and I’m really looking forward to being a Camp Guide with English Camp World this summer and meeting young people from all over the world.
I love the arts and all things creative, from music to poetry to crafts, and I really enjoy being outdoors and exploring nature. I also have a passion for history. I’m friendly and enthusiastic, and I can’t wait to meet you all!

Great organisation and very quick response from the team on requests. Logistics seemed flawless. News postings from the camp on Facebook were plenty and coming in at a fast pace. Great feedback throughout from our daughter and she was a delighted kid coming home. Best camp ever. Thanks for your investment and the quality support and the positive energy.

I am just writing to you to let you know that our twins, Christoph and Alexander, are so happy to have been a part of English Camp World. Every day I was told by the boys with great enthusiastic feelings how amazing every single day was. Every day has been an adventure. All the excursions were just great, great, great...and they were so impressed by London. So my boys would like to come again next year. The photos and video clips on the English Camp World Facebook page are fantastic. It was a lot of fun to follow. Thank you so much to you, your wife, and your team for a real splendid time.
Irmgard S. – mother of Christoph (11) and Alexander (11) from Heidelberg, Germany

As a parent and former camp organizer, I'm really happy with the camp. You took very good care of the kids. Antoni made good progress with his English, and returned with an overall increase in self-confidence.
Adam K., father of Antoni (13) from Warsaw, Poland
Tom enjoyed the camp very much. The most important thing for us is that the young people at the camp were kept very busy. I believe that’s a big difference between your program and others. It was important for us that Tom could get to know England and its people and culture. He praised the food a lot and loved the excursions and evening programs. I will definitely recommend your camp to others.
Bettina H. – mother of Tom (18) from Munich, Germany
Loucas loved the camp very much, especially T-shirt styling, Wacky Olympics and the excursions to London and Warwick Castle. His English has improved very much.
Sylviana G. – mother of Loucas (14 years old), from Quebec, Canada
I met Egor, Rostik and Ilia last Friday in Moscow Sheremetyevo airport and we spent together 18 hours going by train to Agris and then almost an hour going by car to Izhevsk. All boys were so excited telling me stories about the camp lessons, excursions and various activities in your camp. They are so happy! I'd like to express all my gratitude for your hard work, love and kindness to our children.
Vera N. – guardian of Rostik (13), Egor (14) and Ilia (19) from Izhevsk, Russia
English Camp world is an excellent camp. Our children had a wonderful rest and improved their English language skills. There are a lot of cognitive excursions and cheerful activities in the camp. Many thanks to you for caring for and helping our children and special thanks to Sonia.
Ina S. – mother of Gleb (17 years old), from Minsk, Belarus
The children had a lot of attention, a lot of creativity, a lot of love. You showed a professional and individual approach. I want to send to you my children again and again for this priceless experience.

We were very glad to see our son on Friday satisfied and happy. André was proud having been in England and going by plane for the first time. During the English camp he told us that he always had people around him who understood him and he really like everything and everyone in the group. Thanks to you and your team!
Dagmar S. – mother of André (16), from Bad Rappenau, Germany
Our boys loved the camp. I truly appreciate your passion and interest in the camp and the kids. This easily explains why the boys would like to come again next year.
Natalie B. – mother of Nico (9) and Timo (12), from Lucerne, Switzerland
I just wanted to thank you for providing such an enjoyable week for Mark. He was absolutely full of it and was quite tearful having to leave. You have had a really busy camp with lots of interesting activities and visits. He wants to start saving up his paper round money so that he can come again next year!
Sally S. – mother of Mark (13) from Wolverhampton, England
Arthur came home with many new ideas in his head. He’s fallen in love with England and the language. He now wants to study in Oxford and later live in England. But of course there’s still a lot of time until then. What I want to say is your camp has given Arthur a new awareness of life, new impulses and created connections with students from other cultures. The success of your camp is not only due to the wealth of events and activities but also your personal commitment to the students. A huge thanks to you!
Micaela B., mother of Arthur (16 ) from Hamburg, Germany
